Nigerian Army refutes Sambisa Retreat Rumours

The Nigeria Army has dismissed the unreliable media reports that Boko Haram has taken over when it left the war zone for a celebration in camps  as rumoured following the emerging events over the conquest of Sambisa Forest. The Army Chief, General Chris Olukolade stated on Saturday that such "caims and media reports that troops retreated from Sambisa Forest is false".

He affirmed that it is important to note that the recently reported Military Retirement exercise was just the celebration in Line with Military Tradition.
"Military assault is continuing. Progress reports as necessary" will be made, Olukolade stated via his verified social media handle.
