Breaking: Nigeria Govt Finally Publishes Cash & Asset Recoveries!

SUMMARY: Interim Report on Cash & Asset Recoveries by Federal Government of Nigeria  between 29 May 2015 to 29 May 2016.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has listed a substantial amount of money and assets recorvered in her campaign against corruption.
In a summary report released from Digital Stategy and Engagement Unit of Office of The President and shared with an hashtag #FGNRecoveries via a verified social media handle, copy of which was made available to NUJ Europe  on Saturday, the Federal government stated that the sum cash recoveries is totaling N78,325,354,631.82; (N78.3b) $185,119,584.61; £3,508,355.46 and   €11, 250 Euros from 29 May 2015 to 25 May 2016.

Government also listed Recoveries Under Interim Forfeiture (cash & assets) 29 May 2015-29 May 2016 amounting to N126,563,481,095.43; (N126.5) $9,090,243,920.15, £2,484,447.55; and €303,399.17.  

Funds Awaiting Return From Foreign Jurisdictions:
€11,826.11 Euros

Total Non-Cash Recoveries (Farmlands, Plots of Land, Uncompleted & Completed Buildings, Vehicles, Maritime Vessels) = 239.
